Spokane is one of the most livable cities in the nation, with a population of about 200,000. Spokane's diverse neighborhoods offer something for everyone: from beautiful parks to historic districts and hip downtown areas.

West Central Neighborhood: The West Central neighborhood is a small, walkable area of Spokane with just over 700 people and one elementary school. It's home to many historic homes and buildings such as the First Congregational Church. Residents enjoy an easy commute downtown or anywhere in the city due to its proximity on major streets like Riverside Avenue, Walnut Street, Division Street, Maple Road and Hamilton Street.

The Palisades: This neighborhood has about 2000 residents that love it for some of its less traditional qualities - no sidewalks! Kids can ride their bikes down dirt roads while adults take advantage of being close to nature inside Lake Youngs Wildlife Area Park which borders this residential community.

Hillyard: The Hillyard neighborhood is a wonderful place to live due to its easy access to I-90 and Highway 395. Residents enjoy a peaceful suburban life with parks, trails, schools and shopping malls nearby.

Holt: A close knit community that is home to about 400 people. Holt has the Spokane River running through it which provides residents with recreational activities such as kayaking or fishing while also providing them peace of mind knowing their homes are protected from wildfires by being surrounded by trees on all sides.

East Central Neighborhoods - East Central neighborhood's consist of North Side, Southside, Westside for east central neighborhoods in general have many things going for them including large lots and great views! For those who like living near downtown without actually living in downtown these areas provide an excellent alternative where you can find affordable housing and a close-knit community.

North Spokane: North Spokane is a diverse area that has many options for those who want to live in this part of town. The neighborhoods range from desirable with low crime rates, high-quality schools and easy access to the freeway and retail district all while still being close enough to enjoy Spokane Valley's amenities.

South Spokane: South Spokane is home to some beautiful scenery! If you are looking for a more rural living experience South Spokane offers plenty of opportunities including acreage properties on golf courses or horse farms as well as small towns where community is strong and crime rate is very low.

South Hill: The South Hill is one of Spokane’s most desirable neighborhoods. It is growing so rapidly because of its proximity to shopping and schools as well as being home to some of the best public parks in town!

West Plains: The West Plains is a beautiful area that has grown quickly over the last few decades. There are plenty of new homes, more than 40 miles of biking/walking trails, an abundance of open space for recreation, and all at prices much lower than those found closer into downtown or North Spokane.
